The night after X Factor 2012 winner James Arthur performed on stage to a packed-out crowd at The Buttermarket in Shrewsbury, it was the turn of Jahméne Douglas - the runner-up. Well the audience was in for a real treat...what a voice! He was (as the saying goes) jahmaaaazing!!!! His set included Amy Winehouse’s 'Tears Dry on Their Own', Robbie Williams’ 'Angels' and a wonderful performance of Mary Mary's 'Shackles'. Even though Jahméne did not win X Factor, he is a winner in my eyes...an opinion I'm sure shared by everyone else who had the pleasure and honour of witnessing such a talent on Sunday night!
Prior to Jahméne's performance the crowd were treated to a great performance by the very talented Andy O'Brien [ < click me ] from Shrewsbury who was on the very same stage the night before, supporting James Arthur with The Clocktower [ < click me ] a local band from Wolverhampton who formed in 2009 and are destined for big things!
